- A videographer is expensive and books up.
- Editing a video yourself takes days.

You add a few photos, even phone snaps of old prints, and answer simple questions one small screen at a time. We draft the narration only from what you confirm, and you approve every line before it is narrated.
How her film gets made
Add her photos
Snap old prints with your phone or choose photos you already have. We find each print in the picture, straighten it and crop it.
Three photos are enough to watch them move.
Tell her story
Answer simple questions one small screen at a time: tap a suggestion or type a few words. You approve every line before it is narrated.
About 15 minutes, and you can stop and come back.
Get the film
Pick a narrator voice and music. Watch a preview on the page, then get the full film by email as an MP4 for the TV.
45, 60 or 90 seconds, depending on how many photos you add.
Nothing in her film is made up
Her face is only ever her own pixels. We crop, pan, zoom in up to twice the size and adjust the color of your photos, and we never generate a face.
Every line of narration shows which of your answers it came from. When our checker can’t find a line in your answers, the line turns red until you edit, rewrite or remove it.

Questions families ask
Her photos are old prints. Do I need a scanner?
No. Snap each print with your phone’s camera. We find the print in the picture, straighten it and crop it, and tell you if one has glare or blur so you can snap it again.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes of simple questions, one small screen at a time. Sign up and your progress is saved, so you can stop and finish on any device.
Will it really look like her?
Yes, because it is her. Every face in the film comes from your own photos. We move and frame them, and never redraw or generate a face.
What if the narration gets something wrong?
Every line shows which of your answers it came from, and our checker flags any line it can’t find there. Nothing is narrated until you approve the script.
How do we play it at the party?
The film is an MP4, 45, 60 or 90 seconds long depending on how many photos you add. Play it on the TV from a laptop with an HDMI cable, with AirPlay or Chromecast, or from a USB stick.
What does it cost?
Her first film is free, and you won’t need a credit card. It has a small Fondreel mark in the corner. If you want to make more films, Fondreel is $19 a month.
